Program Spotlight

   West Florida Rebellion Bicentenial 1810- 2010

       Audubon State Historic Site is providing monthly programs leading up to the 200th Anniversary in 2010 of the West Florida Rebellion. This first successful rebellion against Spanish authority in the New World was the begining of the end for Spanish rule in its North American colonies. The rebellion literally changed the geographic and cultural map of the United States as we know it today.
